Nice to meet you,
I'm Nof
Art therapist (M.A.) | Researcher and PhD student | Artist and workshop facilitator
For close to a decade I have been working with children, teenagers and women through processes of therapy, creativity and change — in public service and in the education system, alongside my private clinic.
My way took shape over many years of study and curiosity, and through an ongoing meeting between art, nature, the body, the inner world and research.
My clinic doesn't always have four walls.
It is the room I made, with material, colour and image. But sometimes it is forest and earth, a walk in nature, or a meeting by the sea. Sometimes it is water that supports the body and allows it to soften and let go. And sometimes it is simply two people who meet and agree to stay, for a moment, with what is there.
Over the years I've learned that a therapeutic space can take many forms, and that each person has their own language through which they can be met.

The path that brought me here was shaped by years of practice, study and curiosity. I moved between art and behavioural sciences, art therapy, work with children and adolescents, nature and ecotherapy, body and mind, work in water, projective and holistic tools — and later into research as well.
I wasn't looking to collect methods.
I was looking to understand another language.
And the more I learned, the more the borders between these worlds began to blur: between body and mind, between a person and their surroundings, between creative expression and regulation, between nature and the therapy room, and between what I meet in practice and the questions I carry into research.
These connections are exactly where my interest lies today.
Alongside my clinical work I am a researcher and a PhD student. In my PhD research, I am developing a therapeutic approach for working with adolescents in Israel, with a focus on trauma, resilience and coping in times of crisis and uncertainty, while exploring the role of creativity and innovation in processes of adaptation, regulation and growth.
For me, research and therapy aren't two separate worlds. Practice raises questions, research lets me look at them again, and the meeting between them keeps shaping the way I work.

Perhaps The Nof Way grew out of all of this.
A space where creativity, nature and reflection meet.
Not a method that asks a person to fit into it, but a way of meeting each person where they are, and discovering together which language can open movement for them.
